It’s almost that time of year again, Christmas! Everyone has his or her own different kind of Christmas traditions every year. With so many different traditions, there are always different ways to celebrate the holidays such as: having breakfast at a certain time, opening presents on the 24th or on the 25th or even leaving Santa an extra special gift. This year again, the Elf on the Shelf is a popular item being seen in homes around the world.
Christmas traditions come in many shapes and sizes and at different times of the year. Whether it's from decorating lights on the house or on the tree, Christmas time can be a special time for certain families. Senior Taylor Knutsen sets up and decorates her Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving, waiting four weeks for presents to be piled up underneath it. Others place their tree up the first day of December. Some never even bother with a tree.
For others, a “normal” Christmas tradition is waking up super early to see what Santa brought them such as: Brandi Mulford, Lauren Graeve, Carley Williamson, and Sarah Mosinski. One of Mosinski's Christmas traditions is eating steak with the Christmas dinner on some nice China. James and Daniel Thoelke enjoy their morning “sunrises” of Sprite, orange juice and red punch. Christmas is different for everyone, but the traditions are what makes it fun!
