It’s that time for spring sports to start again. Among those spring sports are tennis, track, and golf. The girls golf team has been to State the past couple years, but this year could pose a challenge because of their lack in numbers. The girls team has four members: Macy Wagner (junior), Jorja Weitl (junior), Alexis Fassino (sophomore), and Alexis Fabian (sophomore). The boys golf team never fails to have a full team and then some.
Newcomer Macy Wagner said, “I’ve never done the sport but it should be fun."
“Jorja is going to be our strongest golfer this year, because she has been out for three years and played even longer outside of the team,” Wagner said about their winning strategy this year. They have been successful in the past, so hopefully their strategy works for them again this year.
The boys golf team is another story, with an overabundance of golfers, hopefully they will have some success this year just like the girls teams in the past.
