This summer will be senior Sarah Mosinski’s fourth year working at the Audubon Swimming Pool. Mosinski is an assistant manager this year and one of her biggest responsibilities is checking the pool chemicals every hour or so. She also said you need to posses social skills, be able to enforce rules, and work well with little kids. Mosinski loves working at the pool and especially loves the bonding time she has with her co-workers.
In order to become a lifeguard an individual must go through rescue, CPR, and first aid training. Freshman Rachel Mosinski, Sarah Mosinski’s little sister, took the lifeguard training on the weekend of April 25th in Manning. Rachel decided to become a lifeguard because of her sister, Sarah. She knows of the responsibility it takes and how a person has to pay attention at all times. Rachel Mosinski is a strong swimmer and knows she possesses the skills to be able to take the training to become a lifeguard.
The pool opens around Memorial Day this year, so make sure you have your swimsuits ready and head on down to the Audubon Swimming Pool for a good time!
